Snoop Dogg is also keen on getting into the NFT business but that has left his cousin, Sasha Banks, a little confused
Snoop Dogg, the cousin of WWE star Sasha Banks, is also getting into the NFT business.
The music legend recently shared an update on his social media accounts where he, alongside other celebrities like Lionel Ritchie and Boy George would drop NFTs (non-fungible tokens) on Crypto.com.
NFTs have grown rapidly in recent months with stars such as Khabib Nurmagomedov and Francis Ngannou also sharing their products.
NFTs are similar to blockchains but they represent digital files such as music, videos, items in games and other forms of creative work.
They aren’t interchangeable but can be bought and sold. The fact that art forms are being included now into NFTs is a boost for many creative people, and Snoop Dogg getting into it is pretty great.
However, some are still trying to understand what NFTs are. It is a rather new term with some people also struggling to understand bitcoins and blockchains.
One of those struggling to get this is Banks. The WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion commented on her cousin’s post twice that she just wasn’t getting it:
NFTs are a craze but it is growing at a rapid speed. It might take a few more weeks but there is no doubt that Banks will understand what is going on and maybe even get into the act, if WWE permits.
For now, Banks has other problems on her mind with WrestleMania around the corner.
Banks faces Bianca Belair at WrestleMania and the EST of WWE has been in great form since winning the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Belair and Banks were a tag team for a short while but they failed to win the Women’s tag titles. That saw a rift develop between them and the pair are set to headline one of the WrestleMania nights.
Belair is a rising star but Banks is one of the most experienced female talents in WWE. She is also one of the best ever and it will be interesting to see how this clash goes.
