Sasha Banks wants to be called 2 Beltz Banks if she beats Asuka for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Sasha Banks will have a shot to join her tag team partner Bayley in becoming a double champion after she challenged WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka for the title at the upcoming PPV event, Extreme Rules.
Banks and Bayley made an appearance on this week’s Raw, as they successfully defended their tag titles against The IIconics. Having seen her tag team partner and best friend Bayley enjoy her double title reign, Banks decided that she too wants a taste of it.
The Boss called out Asuka and challenged her for the title, which the Raw Women’s Champion was happy to accept. A fight broke out soon after, and Banks ended up locking Asuka in a Bank Statement, sending out a strong message ahead of the title bout next month.
Banks already has nicknames ready
Bayley, having been a double champion, goes by the moniker ‘Bayley Dos Straps’ now. And following in The Role Model’s footsteps, a confident Banks wants to be called ‘2 Beltz Banks’ when she defeats Asuka and becomes the Raw Women’s Champion.
In a tweet, responding to an earlier post questioning if Banks would join her tag team partner in becoming a double champion, The Boss wrote a list of names she wants to go by, once she beats Asuka for the strap at Extreme Rules.
You can start calling me
The Legit Boss, The Standard, The Blueprint, The Leader, The Conversation and now soon to be…….. 2 Beltz Banks! And you can Bank on that. Jajaja https://t.co/nhjSrdKC4d— Mercedes Moné Varnado (@MercedesVarnado) June 24, 2020
The match between Asuka and Banks is set to be an absolute banger. It will be interesting to see which of the two comes out. Will we see The Boss emerge as 2 Beltz Banks or will Asuka reign supreme? WWE Extreme Rules goes down on July 19.
