WWE Superstar Sasha Banks wants to face this famous pop star at WrestleMania
WWE Superstar Sasha Banks feels that she can be headlining WrestleMania again but wants to face a completely different opponent this time, it is none other than pop star Nicki Minaj.
Last year she faced Bianca Belair on night 1 of WrestleMania the previous year. She has the knack of main eventing WWE’s marquee shows and is cousins with the one and only Snoop Dogg.
According to Bleacher Report (h/t Ringside News), Sasha appeared and spoke on her experience in the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian and then made this statement of headlining WrestleMania against Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and maybe Nicki Minaj. Additionally, she mentioned that these are her top picks.
“I see myself main-eventing WrestleMania either against Nicki Minaj, Charlotte Flair, or Bayley…Those are my top three picks. If I predicted that one last year, I feel like any of those are a WrestleMania-caliber match.”
WrestleMania 38 will be taking place in Arlington, Texas, at the AT&T Stadium. If this match between Minaj and Banks gets on the cards, this could create some serious hype.
Sasha Banks won’t be appearing for the next season of The Mandalorian
The Boss mentioned in the interview that she is not a part of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian on Star Wars, and she had a great experience on the show, she got a huge reception from the fans, and it was quite a feeling for her. Banks stated that she feels like she is on a different planet.
“First of all, thanks for trying to get that out, but I’m not on the next season…But it was incredible being on The Mandalorian on Star Wars. To be on a franchise that is so huge and so loved, just look at the reception from fans outside of the WWE Universe. It was the best feeling of all time. The projection of that show was overwhelming. I legit felt like I was in a galaxy so far, far away. I felt like I was on a different planet…
She is set to face Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair in a triple threat match-up with WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion on the line at Crown Jewel PPV.
