Former Indus Sher Member Saurav Gujar returns to WWE NXT 2.0
One NXT Superstar, Saurav Gurjar, was sent back to India, and there were no plans to use him that time. Looks like Gurjar is making a comeback, but this time not as a wrestler.
Gurjar is a big man and was one half of the stable Indus Sher. The team got disbanded as Gurjar was not ready for television. Now Shanky and Rinku flank Jinder Mahal instead, This week, NXT saw Gujar, formerly of Indus Sher is back as Grayson Waller’s new bodyguard on WWE NXT. He showed up to take out Dexter Lumis this week.
WWE shared on Twitter announcing Saurav’s return. It will be interesting to see what happens next for him and how well WWE utilizes Saurav this time.
Saurav Gurjar accidentally spoiled Keith Lee’s big NXT Title win
Saurav was the man who accidentally spoiled former WWE Star Keith Lee’s big NXT Title win. They pre-taped that match, and he released a video of the victory celebration on his Instagram story spoiling the entire Great American Bash main event. However, he later apologized for that action and Indus Sher was removed from television.
It was reported:
“We’ve been told that at the moment, Saurav Gurjar is actually back home in India and has been for quite a while. We’ve heard of no plans for him to return to television imminently.” (H/t Ringside News)
He was sent back to India as Gurjar was not ready for television and was out of the company for a long time, but now he is back, and even though his role is minor, Gujar can certainly prove his potential to the company this time.
