X-Pac and Scott Hall were members of the dominant faction known as The Kliq in the World Wrestling Federation. They were very close friends in real life as well
X-Pac aka Syxx was also involved in one of the coolest stables in pro wrestling history known as nWo alongside Scott Hall.
In an interview with Dave Meltzer for this week’s Scott Hall obituary/biography in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Waltman revealed a heartbreaking incident related to Hall’s broken hip. He said that Hall was on the floor for several days as he couldn’t get up after breaking his hip. It was when “Diamond” Dallas Page went to the legendary two-time Hall of Famer’s house that everyone knew about his unfortunate condition.
Scott Hall recently underwent hip surgery. As per reports, he was being treated at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
Hall’s condition worsened when a blood clot got loose. The two-time Hall of Famer suffered three heart attacks. He was on life support as his health condition deteriorated severely.
“The pandemic did him in,” said Waltman. “It was hard enough for him as it was, but he was isolated in his house with no social interaction. He was down to 210 pounds. We called Dally (Dallas Page) and he went over. It was really bad.”
Like a true friend, Sean Waltman wanted to stay with Scott Hall to help him when his health condition worsened as per reports from Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer reported that Hall had been in rough shape the night before last year’s nWo Hall of Fame induction at WrestleMania 37. It was also revealed that he had passed out in the bar the night before. Meltzer wrote:
“While the story the public thought was that he had horrible drinking issues, but through working with Page, he had licked it and turned things around. And according to Waltman, there were times that was at least close to being the case. But things got really bad over the last two years.”
Waltman also mentioned how Hall used to train wrestlers he thought had potential in how to interact with fans. One of the many wrestlers he trained was Powerhouse Hobbs, who is currently signed with AEW.
