Seth Rollins still does not know who he faces at WrestleMania 38
Vince McMahon gave Seth Rollins a match at WrestleMania 38. However, the WWE head didn’t name an opponent for the former Shield member.
McMahon did say that he would confirm Rollins’ opponent on the night of WrestleMania. Rollins, for his part, decided to take things into his own hands as he started sharing GIFs of who all he could possibly face.
He posted a lot of potential rivals and even put out GIFs of Asuka and McMahon.
However, his Twitter activity seems to have raised questions regarding the showing up of one former star.
Cody Rhodes was released by AEW recently and rumours have been doing the rounds that he could feature at WrestleMania 38.
Aaron Rift of NoDQ.com shared an interesting update and brought up that Rollins had not shared a GIF of Rhodes, yet.
Rhodes leaving AEW was a huge shock and him returning to WWE at the grandest stage of them all would one something special.
Rollins vs Rhodes could be an amazing match. However, the prospect of one of them losing doesn’t really make sense.
Rhodes losing on his WWE return wouldn’t really be a great storyline to start off, unless McMahon wants the former AEW star to have such a storyline.
Rollins losing, on his part, wouldn’t be great either since he has been incredible since taking up his new gimmick.
WWE could pull off a surprise and get a big name to face Rollins with Rhodes coming in and messing things up. WrestleMania 38 needs some surprises and this could be one of them.
