Shane McMahon has not featured in WWE since his 2022 Royal Rumble appearance
Reports suggested that Shane McMahon was present in Texas ahead of WrestleMania 38.
McMahon had not featured in WWE since his appearance at the Royal Rumble. This set of rumours that he could feature in the grandest stage of them all.
However, all of that seems to have died down after Dave Meltzer (h/t WhatCulture) confirmed Shane O’Mac’s plans for the weekend.
Meltzer claimed that McMahon is present for The Undertaker’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.
“Here’s the deal. He was gonna go [to Dallas] no matter what. He goes to the Hall of Fame, every single Hall of Fame. He’s always at the Hall of Fame. Of course he’s gonna go with Vince inducting Undertaker to the Hall of Fame.”
Meltzer did bring up that Vince McMahon could give Shane something to do at Mania. However, there have been no creative plans for Shane since January.
There have been conflicting reports of McMahon’s time in WWE after his Royal Rumble excursion. Shane McMahon basically came out as the Number 28 entrant and was eliminated by Brock Lesnar.
However, his booking of the match received a lot of criticism. Some reports claimed that McMahon had been released by WWE but nothing official has been said about this.
Shane O’Mac has done a lot of great things in his in-ring career. However, that Rumble appearance was a little too much.
As far as McMahon getting a match at WrestleMania 38, Seth Rollins set the world abuzz by sharing a GIF.
Rollins is to have a match at Mania but Vince decided to keep The Architect guessing. Rollins will only learn of his opponent on WrestleMania night.
