Shayna Baszler didn’t get a lot of love from the WWE fans
Shayna Baszler was at the receiving end of critics after she took a shot at the Four Horsewomen of WWE.
Baszler responded to a post from Alexa Bliss regarding WWE focusing more on Becky Lynch cashing in the Money in the Bank case.
Bliss claimed that she wasn’t given due respect as she wasn’t one of the Four Horsewomen, to which Baszler suggested none of the original four can be counted as the Horsewomen.
When Monday Night Raw returned to Madison Square Garden for the first time in nearly 10 years in September, it involved a tag team bout pitting Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair against Sasha Banks and Bayley.
The group, collectively known as The Four Horsewomen, has been on the leading edge of a groundbreaking era in women’s wrestling in the WWE.
All four women debuted with WWE’s NXT developmental brand between 2012 and 2013, and their careers will forever be intertwined because of what they both accomplished together and also against one another.
Baszler gets ripped to shreds
Baszler, for her part, is also part of a group which call themselves the Four Horsewomen too. However, the quartet all have a history in the MMA and have tried to put a foothold in the world of wrestling.
The problem is that they haven’t been together in wrestling for as long as the original four. While Baszler tried to throw some shade to this, many fans weren’t happy with what she had said.
Some lashed out at the WWE star for trying to put down the original four. Others, however, had even harsher things to say to her.
Shayna, Shayna, Shayna this is the WWE….They're the #4HW whilst you and your clan are nothing more than #ThePhonyPonyPosse oh & you've lost back to back PPVs so let's just leave it at that shall we!
