A war seems to be brewing regarding who the Four Horsewomen of wrestling are
Shayna Baszler brought up the topic of the Four Horsewomen of wrestling after this week’s WWE Raw.
Baszler was seen attacking Nia Jax but she also saw Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir as part of the show.
Shafir was in action on Raw Underground and looked impressive, and Fox decided to start a war between some WWE stars.
They tweeted a picture of Baszler, Ronda Rousey, Duke and Shafir on one side and the other had Bayley, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair.
Fox asked an important question too, and Baszler was quick to respond that the other four were just good wrestlers.
WE ARE THE ACTUAL TEAM!!! They are just 4 good wrestlers. https://t.co/yEmJCCp6zg

Baszler further claimed that her gang were a proper team, and that set off a lot of comments from the fans.
The Queen of Spades has been taken down in the past regarding these comments too, and this time some WWE stars took on the challenge.
Who are the real Four Horsewomen of WWE?
Bayley, Banks, Lynch and Charlotte are the Four Horsewomen of WWE, there is no denying that. They also came through roughly the same time into WWE as part of the Women’s revolution.
However, they cannot be considered a team simply because there have been too many battles between them.
On the other hand, Baszler and her trio all have MMA roots. Rousey was the first one to break through and capture the main titles before leaving the promotion. Baszler has taken up that mantle ever since while the other two are trying to feature regularly on NXT.
Baszler has tried to take up the Four Horsewomen in WWE name for a while but she didn’t get a lot of support from her rivals.
One fan pointed out that Charlotte deserved to be in the Four Horsewomen because her father, Ric Flair, was in the Four Horsemen.
While Baszler took a shot at that and brought out Peyton Manning and him not being a Saint, Charlotte took a good swing at Baszler:
I’m sorry that nobody told you this, but holding your friend’s belt in a photo does not make you a horsewoman (though in your case, it did make you relevant- for a second or two at least). https://t.co/Tdo51E3ewh

Another fan pointed out that women’s wrestling wasn’t all that great prior to the Four Horsewomen of WWE coming in, but Baszler claimed that they still aren’t a team:
They are absolutely 4 great wrestlers. THEY AREN’T A TEAM. You can’t pick 11 great football players and call them the 2019 Chiefs.

Bayley had a more measured response and just wanted Baszler to forget about all this:
Lol dude let it go https://t.co/hRg9Q2z8NJ

WWE does have a lot of talented female stars on their roster, and it will be interesting to see how this rivalry goes.
They could do a Horsewomen vs Horsewomen clash with three stars on each team though. Rousey is retired while Lynch is starting a family, but that doesn’t mean the other six can’t clash.
