Sheamus makes a joke about WWE star Cesaro looking like Pep Guardiola
WWE superstar Sheamus named his friend Cesaro as the most underrated star in the promotion. The question was asked by WWEonFOX on their Twitter account, and got a bucket-load of responses.
Amongst them was a tweet from the Celtic Warrior. The Irishman made a hilarious football reference after he shared a picture of the Swiss wrestler.
In the photo shared by Sheamus, Cesaro is seen wearing a Manchester City jacket. Sheamus, who follows football closely and is famously a Liverpool fan, compared Cesaro to the manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola.
Sheamus wrote in his tweet:
“Pep Guar…. I mean @WWECesaro [fist emoji]”
He is referring to the similarity in their looks. Both Cesaro and Guardiola keep a predominantly bald hair-style and having a similar stubble.
Funnily enough, Cesaro is also wearing the merchandise of the team managed by the Spaniard.
Lince Dorado also thinks Cesaro is quite underrated on WWE
Another WWE RAW wrestler who is on the Cesaro hype-train is Lince Dorado. The Puerto Rican also stated that the Swiss wrestler is the most underrated on the show.
Cesaro’s best moments inside the ring have come as a tag team player. His reign with Sheamus on RAW is perhaps the best of them, where the duo won the tag team title 4 times.
Apart from that, he has also had successful pairings with Tyson Kidd as well as Shinsuke Nakamura. When it comes to singles’ titles, his United States Championship in 2012 is his most prized belt.
Since then, he has been largely underused by WWE. This has even led former WWE wrestler Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca to say that he might be better off on NXT if he is so underutilized on the main roster.
