Smackdown superstar Baron Corbin took a shot at United States Champion Sheamus after suffering a nose injury on WWE RAW
The King of the Ring winners are on different brands but the rivalry clearly remains fierce between the duo. Corbin and Sheamus were on the same page, till their sour fall-out on WWE Smackdown.
It would seem that Corbin still has some animosity towards the Irishman :
“Hey @WWESheamus you bleed a lot for a champion. Might want to Put that white claw on your nose to stop the bleeding”
Corbin, meanwhile is embroiled in a rivalry with the King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura. The two have had a conflict of interest over the past weeks on WWE Smackdown. Nakamura wore the crown owned by Corbin and now seems completely infatuated with himself as he wears it.
Corbin was drafted to SmackDown Live in 2017, where he went on to become the United States Champion. He also won the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2017 but could not cash it in. Corbin also won the 2019 King of the Ring and has worn the crown ever since.
Sheamus’ Injury
US Champion Sheamus will be looking to return to in-ring action quickly and defend his gold against Ricochet and Carrillo, a battle which has been going on for weeks.
Carrillo inadvertently hit Sheamus with a straight blow to the nose during their match and that left him with a fractured nose which started bleeding heavily. Sheamus will be looking to return to action and defend his title in the upcoming PPVs.
