Damian Priest finished The Miz with Sheamus’ finisher Brogue Kick on Monday Night Raw
Damian Priest upped the ante ahead of his SummerSlam 2021 match, with a stunning win over The Miz.
Priest took on the Miz in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw and was all over ‘Missionary Mike’ right from the beginning.
Giving no room for the Miz throughout the entirety of the match, Priest finished him with Sheamus‘ finisher – Brogue Kick, even as a fuming Sheamus looked on from the commentary panel.
‘The Celtic Warrior’ was clearly not happy with Priest hitting The Miz with the Brogue Kick.
An angry Sheamus muttered on the mic, “Enjoy that moment, fella … because it’ll be your LAST moment in the spotlight!”
Sheamus is currently the United States Champion and is set to defend his title against Priest at SummerSlam 2021, which is set to take place this Saturday.
Sheamus reacts to Damian Priest hitting The Miz with the brogue kick
Sheamus’ vented out his vexation on Twitter as well, later in the night.
Calling out Priest, Sheamus stated that he would show him how to hit a clean brogue kick at SummerSlam 2021.
Here is what Sheamus tweeted:
“..pointing at YOU @ArcherOfInfamy nothin’ but a bleedin’ thief!! i’ll show ya how to brogue at #SummerSlam.”
As for Priest, he made his main roster debut only this year, following the 2021 Royal Rumble. He will be looking forward to getting his hands on the first-ever major title in his career.
In the WWE, he has previously held the NXT North American Championship once.
