Sheamus makes it to Survivor Series after help from Ridge Holland
WWE star Sheamus has heaped praise on fellow wrestler Ridge Holland as he posted a Twitter post for the NXT star. An Irish Wrestler posted a picture of duo and captioned it:
“..an Irishman & an Englishman walk into a bar.. 1st round is on young Holland here… the kid done good @RidgeWWE #SmackDown”
After Sami Zayn lost to Jeff Hardy around a fortnight ago, he was discarded from the men’s Survivor Series team. After that, there was no announcement and WWE didn’t mention what were they planning on the fifth member.
After that it was announced there will be a Fatal 4-Way on the Friday Night SmackDown, with Sheamus returning to action for the first time since being drafted to the blue brand
Then on Friday in the SmackDown – Sheamus, Jinder Mahal, Ricochet and Cesaro battled in a fatal four-way match. The winner of that fight was guaranteed a spot on blue brand’s Men’s Survivor Series team.
And thanks to Ridge Holland – Sheamus has booked a spot for the same. During the fight, Holland down to the arena at the ringside to get a closer look at the match. During the encounter, the English wrestler distracted Cesaro and in the process, Sheamus landed a Brogue Kick to get a win.
The Survivor 2021 PPV will take place on November 21 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City.
