Humberto Carrillo has his revenge against Sheamus on RAW
It seems that Humberto Carrillo and Sheamus now have a proper feud going for the WWE United States Championship.
Last week, Sheamus posed an open challenge for his US title, to which Carrillo responded. But before the bell rang for the match, Sheamus caught him off-guard and handed him a beating.
The 25-year-old decided to have a second go this week as he again came out to face Sheamus on RAW. But things turned out differently this time.
Carrillo was now the one attacking the Irishman and he sent him outside the ring. Bamboozled, Sheamus did not see a flying takedown coming through the ropes from Carrillo.
The match did not go ahead and the title remains with Sheamus, but Carrillo had his revenge and embarrassed ‘The Celtic Warrior’.
Sheamus reacts to Humberto Carrillo attacking him on RAW
The champ then took to Twitter to relay his feelings about the incident and mentioned that he did not even have the time to take his coat off before the attack. The caption read:
“..that flying fool Dumberto attacked me before I could even get me bleedin’ coat off![Angry emoji] #disgrace#wweraw“
Well, that’s just how the game is, fella. What you give, you get back in return, but Sheamus, of all, would not need to be reminded of that.
He has been in the wrestling game for almost 2 decades now and has held almost every WWE title there is to hold. But in Humberto, he faces an invigorated and feisty challenger.
The young Mexican is out here to impress and make a name for himself separate from that of his accomplished luchador family. And what better way to do that than beating Sheamus to a WWE title?
