WWE star Shinsuke Nakamura reacts after handing over the crown
Former King of the Ring Shinsuke Nakamura officially gives up his crown before the start of this year’s King of the Ring tournament as an act of respect to the future King of the Ring.
WWE.com Twitter posted a video of Nakamura giving up his crown. The former King replied that he remains the King as a King of Style even if he’s not wearing a crown.

Nakamura won the crown by defeating Happy Baron Corbin in the first-ever Battle for the Crown on June 18. Before that Corbin had the crown and King nickname since he won the last King of the Ring tournament in 2019.
Shinsuke Nakamura said a few words while giving up his crown
In the recently given video on the WWE Twitter handle, which shows Nakamura giving up his crown before the start of the new tournament, Shinsuke was seen sharing a few things,
“A new king of the ring being crowned in a few weeks, I respect the King of the Ring tournament, and I approve it myself as a king. Because of that, I am giving up my crown. So, you now can’t call me King Nakamura, but you can call me the Intercontinental Champion.”
Boogs ended the segment with his guitar performance.
The King of the Ring tournament started with Finn Balor and Sami Zayn picking up victories in their quarterfinal matches. It would be great to see who will be the finalists and eventually the King of the Ring Contest winner.
