Shinsuke Nakamura reacts after shocking SmackDown with old ‘Rising Sun’ theme music

Shinsuke Nakamura brought back his old theme music this week on SmackDown

This week’s WWE SmackDown saw Shinsuke Nakamura take on Jey Uso. Uso started the night off by taunting the Japanese wrestler, saying that he and Roman Reigns did not injure him enough last week.

Last week’s SmackDown featured a gauntlet match to choose Reigns’ opponent at Royal Rumble for his WWE Universal Championship. Nakamura was the last man standing as Adam Pearce made his way into the ring.

Reigns and Uso then proceeded to beat both the contestants. The duo then put Pearce’s body over Nakamura’s to grant the WWE producer the win.

And this Friday, the King of Strong Style did not take kindly to being reminded of it again. He entered the ring in the middle of Uso’s speech, and this time, with his old entrance theme.

Apart from his electric style inside the ring, Nakamura has for long been associated with his entrance theme. The theme titled ‘Rising Sun’ has become synonymous with Nakamura over the years.

This is why some fans were against the addition of lyrics to the song a couple of years back, which then became his new theme.

But fans got a taste of the old theme back this week as he made his way out to the violin and guitar-heavy tune. In such moments, you really wish there was a crowd to truly appreciate the moment.

It rolled back the clock to almost 4 years ago when he made his SmackDown debut in hair-raising fashion.

He got the win over Jey Uso after an evenly-fought contest. Fans would now be hoping he keeps this momentum and climbs his way to the top with his old theme playing in the background for the foreseeable future.
