Shotzi Blackheart came close to injuring a neck with a high-flying move

WWE NXT superstar Shotzi Blackheart almost hurt her neck as she connected a high-flying move outside ring on this week’s episode of WWE NXT.

Blackheart was thrown into an impromptu mixed tag team match on this week’s NXT. After she and KUSHIDA intervened The Way’s celebration party.

This prompted the host, Dexter Lumis, to pit the duo with The Way with a mixed tag team match. Kushida and Blackheart faced Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, and the fight was started by the women.

Kushida and Gargano were raring to have a go at each other, and they got their wish. The fight between the featured a bunch of exciting, high-flying moves.

Despite Austin Theory trying to get involved, KUSHIDA stayed on his toes and was on hand to pin Gargano for the win the chance arose.

The moment of the match came when Shotzi Blackheart sprung into action as she dived through the ropes to take out LeRae.

She connected perfectly, but her fall concerned fans. She smartly turned her body at the last moment to avoid any impact injuries.

You can see the video of the move below. Kushida quoted it to express his amazement at having Shotzi as his partner.

Thankfully she avoided injuries and there was nothing reported after the fight. Executing these moves takes a lot of talent, and even the most skilled performers know they have no room for error.

All’s well that ends well, though, and apart from the sensational move by Blackheart, Kushida took another step towards becoming a serious contender for the NXT North American Championship with this victory.
