WWE star Shotzi Blackheart is hopeful after Tegan Nox split post the WWE Draft
The WWE Draft 2021, which ended this week on Monday Night Raw, shifted superstars from one brand to another and WWE tag-team partners, creating tension among partners. One example of this is with the tag-team partners Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox.
They were supposed to fight for the WWE Smackdown Tag-team titles, but this draft resulted in Nox being drafted to Raw, which led to the team splitting up, and in two weeks, she will be in Raw.
Shotzi took to Twitter to share about this splitting. However, she believes that there is still hope for the title shot.
“Hope not lost”
Shotzi and Nox made an impressive main roster start before the WWE Draft 2021
Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart made an excellent main roster debut on WWE SmackDown a few weeks back as they defeated the Women’s tag-team Champion Natalya and Tamina back.
This makes them next in line for the Women Tag Team Championship. Shotzi and Nax recently made an appearance on WWE The Bump (h/t Inside Sport), where they talked about their sudden change in their career from NXT to SmackDown.
Nox revealed that it was quite a quick transition, and Shotzi also reminded people that they have worked as a team before as well.
Nox said, “I think we gelled pretty quickly as a tag team. We had that little run in NXT as a tag team & that was fun, and then my knee went ‘ha, ha, ha, I’m not attached!”
Shotzi mentioned, “People forget that we have been tagging for a while up until your injury, we were going, we were going & we are back at it.”
