Simone Johnson, the daughter of The Rock, heaps praise on Nikki Cross
Former WWE Champion Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s daughter Simone Johnson has praised Nikki Cross’ new character on RAW on social media.
Cross has taken up a new persona of a superhero, and The Rock’s daughter seemed impressed with all this.
Johnson posted on Twitter saying:
Cross has been praised for bringing up this character and boosting the confidence of others by saying anyone can be special.
Johnson has begun training to become a WWE Superstar at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. She has also been praised for her impressive rise after her move to wrestling. The 19-year-old was the ‘most-improved developmental talent in squats for the period of January – May 2021’ topping the rankings list sent in WWE.
She joins her father in the footsteps of great-grandfather and grandfather, WWE Hall of Famers “High Chief” Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson as fourth-generation wrestler in the company.
Johnson has been closely working with Head Coach Matt Bloom and Assistant Head Coach Sara Amato for over a year now. Her father, The Rock is set to return to WWE this year. There are plans to bring The Great One to face his cousin, Roman Reigns by the end of the calendar year.
Johnson’s praise for Cross comes after she donned a new superhero gimmick on WWE RAW. Cross’ hopes that the new gimmick brings her confidence going into the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Cross appeared in a new outfit during a qualifying match on WWE Raw for the Money in the Bank ladder match. She teamed with former partner Alexa Bliss to beat Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Cross was appearing in the WWE Raw Women’s title scene in the few weeks prior to that.
It is expected that the blue and gold outfit with a butterfly embroidered in it will bring her good results. Her husband, former WWE Superstar Killian Dain earlier revealed that the idea was made and brought into life by her.
