Sin Cara brings up how great Rey Mysterio was with his son
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Sin Cara (a.k.a Cinta de Oro, Hunico) has opened up on the kindness of Rey Mysterio, revealing how well the WWE superstar treated his son when they visited his house.
Sin Cara was released by WWE in December 2019, following which he signed up with Mexico-based promotion AAA.
The former WWE superstar reflected on his time with the company during the interview with Van Vliet and shed some light on his experience of getting to know and working with Rey Mysterio.
Cinta de Oro, as he goes by on AAA now, claimed that Rey Mysterio was one of the nicest human beings he had ever come across, while insisting that he and every other wrestler had a lot to learn from the Lucha legend.
“Rey had a lot of influence on a lot of people, especially me at the beginning of my career. He’s the nicest guy you could ever meet in your life. The guy doesn’t have a nothing bad about him in his body, in his bones, in his soul [sic]. He’s just an amazing person.”
Sin Cara recalls son wanting to meet Rey for birthday
Sin Cara then went on to reveal how his son wanted to meet Rey Mysterio for his eighth birthday, instead of going to Legoland or Disneyland. And the legendary Luchador was happy to oblige to. The ex-WWE superstar then shared how well Mysterio looked after his son when they went down to his house.
“We went over to his house and he treated my son like royalty, man. He gave him a tour of his house, gave him action figures, gave him an original mask, signed and everything. So, he’s just a great person and I think a lot of guys look up to him.”
Rey is currently teaming up with his son Dominik Mysterio on SmackDown and is vying to become the first-ever father-son Tag Team champions on WWE.
