WWE Official Sonya Deville reacts on making her in-ring return next week
Sonya Deville was left WWE a few months back only to return as an official is set to return to some in-ring action next week on SmackDown Live against Naomi.
Deville took to Twitter after a confrontation with Naomi backstage last night on SmackDown. She hopes that everyone is ready for her return.
“I hope everyone is ready.”
This started after Naomi confronted Devile about why she was not booked in the first-ever Queen’s Crown Tournament. The device replied with some unkind words that the latter isn’t worthy of being a queen and not even worth being on the SmackDown roster.
This led to trash-talking between the two and ended with Deville agreeing to give a match to Naomi next week and also mentioned that her opponent would be none other than Deville herself.
Sonya Deville makes her return to the ring after a long time
Deville was out of in-ring action since she lost Mandy Rose in a NO DQ Loser Leaves match at SummerSlam 2020. However, she returned earlier this year an on-screen authority role with Adam Pearce.
A few months back, it was reported that Deville started in-ring training past June. She was even planning for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but that didn’t happen. It was also said that WWE wanted Deville to back by WrestleMania 37, but it kept on delaying.
It was seen that ever since Naomi made her return from injury, Deville has been cold with her and hasn’t given her a single booking to wrestle on SmackDown. So next week, finally the Naomi will get her much-needed match, and that too against Deville.
