Sonya Deville wants to replace Ruby Rose as Batwoman

WWE star Sonya Deville has been electric in recent weeks with her promos. The Pride Fighter has been at loggerheads with former best friend Mandy Rose, and it seems to bring out the best in her.

Deville and Mandy have fought a couple of times but her promos have been brilliant, to say the least. She has done well as a heel and it seems she is ready to take on another role.

News broke out that Ruby Rose would not continue as Batwoman as the TV series plans for a new season.

One fan tweeted to Deville asking her if she wanted to take up the role since her promos were brilliant, and the WWE star was positive to that suggestion:

“I think you’re on to something @CWBatwoman”

She then tweeted to many stars that are working on the series and even CW for a shot at the role:

“Give me a shot at Batwoman. @carolinedries @RachieSkarsten @GBerlanti @Variety @DEADLINE @THR @enews @CWBatwoman @TheCW”

Deville against replied to another fan “Not to worry” when they reminded her that Ruby wasn’t part of Batwoman.

The WWE star would have a lot of work on her hands if she did get the role. However, Deville could be a decent replacement given her build and how she has grown on the microphone in recent weeks.

Many WWE stars have had appearances in TV shows, but being the lead in a top show could curtail her time in the promotion.

Deville has a score to settle

While talks of her featuring in CW’s Batwoman may not happen, Deville has one big match coming up.

Her rivalry with Mandy doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon, and she will be in a mixed tag match.

Mandy teams up with her boyfriend Otis while Deville will pair up with Ziggler. This week’s SmackDown will see the quartet fight, and it should be an entertaining bout.
