Former WWE wrestler Ryan Sakoda passed away
It is being reported that the former WWE wrestler Ryan Sakoda passed away on September 2nd at the age of 46. However, no cause of death has been revealed as of yet. Sakoda was signed by the WWE in 2003 with a developmental contract. He made his WWE debut on October 2003 at No Mercy.
However, his WWE career was shortly ended as the wrestler was released from the WWE contract in August of 2004. Before WWE he was big in the Independent circuit and wrestled for NWA and Ultimate Pro Wrestling as well.
After being released from WWE he joined Ultimate Pro Wrestling again and in 2007 he was signed for the Wrestling Society X which was a wrestling promotion built by MTV back in the day. It is reported that Sakoda was recently working at the Disney Grand California Hotel.
Ryan Sakoda’s lawsuit against WWE
In 2015 Sakoda filed a lawsuit against his former company alleging that he suffered traumatic brain injuries and also that the company tried to hide the information. The suit was filed with several other wrestlers and attorney Konstantine Kyros who is also involved with several lawsuits against WWE. The lawsuit was a class-action featuring Sakoda, Luther Reigns and also Russ McCullogh.
However, later in march 2016 the lawsuit was dismissed by the court as being frivolous. It is yet to be reported that whether it was his brain injuries which eventually caused his untimely death at 46.
