“I just remember looking at him and I walked up to him and I go ‘Hey what are you doing’ and he’s like ‘What do you mean?’

“I was like ‘Well, you’re here, I got to work a dark match after this I go do you mind coming out and just given me a stunner and you know how else we gonna send these people home?’”

Austin was more than happy to accept and Punk claimed that it was weird seeing the star walking about and no one going up to him.

Punk also went backstage to speak to the other heels, like R-Truth and said that Austin would Stun them all, which got them shocked.

“I think that’s kind of where Steve kind of took a liking to me.”
