“A five-second match” – Sasha Banks makes bold SummerSlam prediction for Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg

Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg is for the WWE title and Sasha Banks made a bold squash prediction for this SummerSlam match

Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley was a bit of a surprise match that WWE threw at the Universe for SummerSlam 2021.

Goldberg came out of nowhere to stake a claim for Lashley’s title, and his son, Gage, has been front and center of all this as well.

The wrestling legend looks to be in decent shape and even took down Lashley in the last Raw. However, Sasha Banks believes this won’t be an event contest. The Boss also battles Bianca Belair at SummerSlam for the SmackDown Women’s title.

Banks was speaking to WWE Deutschland and gave her prediction for this clash. The Boss believed that Lashley would squash Goldberg in five seconds due to the legend’s lack of time in the ring (h/t Ring Side News):

“I’m gonna choose [Lashley] to win! I choose Bobby Lashley. Goldberg, where has he been? Where has he been? Goldberg matches are always short and sweet, so I expect at the last, Bobby just hitting him with the one… two… three. That’s gonna be a five-second match.”

Goldberg’s time coming to an end in WWE?

The legend is known for his quick matches and had one infamous one against Brock Lesnar back in 2016.

This match could also be a quick one given Goldberg’s age and WWE possibly trying to project Lashley as a dominating champion.

Further, Goldberg recently confirmed that he only has a couple of matches left in his WWE contract and he was keen on facing either John Cena or Roman Reigns.

It will be interesting to see how the match goes at SummerSlam. This is one of the biggest PPVs in the wrestling calendar and the fans would be keen on getting a good match and celebrate whoever comes out as champion.
