WWE superstar Edge is known for his acts of goodwill on social media
Edge won the Royal Rumble in January after making his second WWE return within a year. He is now on the road to WrestleMania 37.
And being tasked with fighting WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns at the grandest professional wrestling stage of all hasn’t deterred him from taking time out for other important things.
A fan shared a photo of her son on Twitter on his 13th birthday. She mentioned that her kid has ADHD and that Edge is his favourite wrestler.
The woman added that a wish from ‘The Rated R Superstar’ would make the kid’s day. To be honest, it would make just about anyone’s day!
And Edge did just that. He was at an airport and still took out time to wish the kid by making a 28-second long video.
Edge mentioned in the video that it has been a ‘tough year’ for everyone, mainly because of the Covid-19 pandemic that has halted the planet in a lot of ways since it broke out last year.
He then wishes the 13-year-old fan, something that the kid would probably never forget for the rest of his life.
And this isn’t the first time that he has done so. The Canadian wrestler constantly wishes his fans on social media and is against the ‘Cameo’ trend, an app that charges people to be acknowledged by their favourite stars.
He mentioned that he does not need to charge his fans for wishing them because he is very grateful to have them.
Now that is something we love to see from our superstar. It is always great to see famous WWE wrestlers understand the role they can hold in some people’s lives.
