T-Bar decided to take a shot at Damian Priest despite the WWE NXT North American champion praising Reckoning of Retribution
Retribution leader T-Bar continued his war against all those involved with WWE. The leader has hit out on the promotion several times since his name was revealed and Dominik Dijakovic continued to do the same after WWE NXT.
This time, North American Champion, Damien Priest was on the hit list. The champion’s move is called the reckoning and fellow Retribution member, Reckoning was pleased with that move.
That could have been due to their names matching but Priest also liked the name of Mia Yim (Reckoning).

This saw T-Bar enter the fray and he hit out at Priest by calling him “WWE scum”. Priest wasn’t taking this lying down and replied that technically, T-Bar was also WWE scum:

Back to the NXT days
Dijakovic is a former NXT star but he hasn’t forgotten his roots. The former NXT star has called out several people in recent months and he is one of the most enjoyable WWE stars on social media.
Priest is having the time of his life on NXT. He is the current NXT North American champion and will defend the title against Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver 31.
It will be interesting to see how he does against Johnny Wrestling. Priest was defeated by his rival and Candice LeRae during a mixed tag match on this week’s NXT.
While Retribution have been a menace on Raw and SmackDown, they haven’t attacked anyone on NXT all that much.
That could change on this TakeOver, especially with this war of words with Priest. It will be interesting to see how things go for the champion, especially after the loss. Dijakovic/T-Bar could have the last word in all this and that could see the end of Priest’s reign as champion.
