Roman Reigns wasn’t pleased with Jey Uso at Survivor Series early on

The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, took on Drew McIntyre in a Champion vs Champion clash at Survivor Series.

This was the main event before The Undertaker’s farewell and it turned out to be an incredible clash. However, things weren’t all that smooth for Reigns at the start of the show. He was left seething as Jey Uso failed to land a win at the Survivor Series match.

Uso was part of the SmackDown team but they were whitewashed by Raw 5-0. That came as a bit of a surprise in all this as Raw had a lot of internal problems on their own.

Reigns told Uso to get out of his face and the cousins were at war already. Uso had been trying to win the approval of The Big Dog and he did achieve that later.

Jey helped Reigns defeat McIntyre after the referee was knocked down in their battle. That seemed to get the approval of Reigns and it also pleased another Anoa’i family member.

Reigns is related to several top WWE stars such as The Rock and Rikishi too, and Tamina, who is also part of the Anoa’i family was quick to praise the cousins after the main event.

Tamina has been one of the most vocal supporters of Reigns turning heel and attacking Jey in the past too, but this was a great moment for the two men at Survivor Series.

What next for the Chief?

Reigns made a statement by defeating McIntyre, even if he needed a bit of help from Uso. The Big Dog had been upset with Jey for a while but this could be the start of something great for them.

The pair could form a stable and include Jey’s brother, Jimmy, when he is 100% ready. Jey might have lost the Survivor Series match but he won the respect of his cousin.
