Tamina Snuka and Natalya make a statement on WWE SmackDown
This week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw Natalya and Tamina Snuka attack Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler in the ring to make a big title statement.
Sasha Banks did not repay the favour for Belair’s support earlier in the night as she left ‘The EST’ without any support against Shayna Baszler in their singles match.
To add to the discord in the other camp, Nia Jax also abandoned Baszler and the two were left without any support inside the ring.
But before their match could even begin, they were attacked by Tamina and Natalya and were beaten brutally.
‘The Queen of Spades’ and the women’s Royal Rumble 2021 winner were left lying flat on the ring, with Natalya and Tamina standing above them.
This was indeed a way of the two entering the fray for the SmackDown women’s tag team title. And the two went to their social media accounts to post another message.
The duo posted identical tweets, clearly mentioning their intention of taking the title from the current champions, Jax and Baszler.
The match was well played out as it accentuated the growing cracks in the two established women’s tag teams on the Blue brand while also cementing a new entrant in the title frame.
Tamina and Natalya joined forces back in January 2021 and have been a force to reckon with on the show ever since.
And it finally seems like WWE is willing to hand the duo a belt, or at least give them a title fight against the current champions.
