Sheamus and Drew McIntyre put on another brutal show and there were some major injury marks too
Sheamus and Drew McIntyre put on another crazy match at WWE Fastlane and the pair seemed to pick up an injury or two too.
The pair had met a while back on Raw and left some marks on each other. However, they ran it back on Fastlane and this time, it was a no holds barred match.
Sheamus and McIntyre were friends and now seem to be rivals in WWE. They went hammer and tongs at each other and it was McIntyre who came out on top.
The Scot came out with a lot of face paint too as he went to war with his former friend. A ton of weapons were used by both and Sheamus was quick to share some of his battle scars.
The pair had done that after their brutal Raw match a few weeks ago, and this was another brutal affair.
Sheamus even called this the WrestleMania 37 main event and it was provided early to the fans:
“You just witnessed the main event of Wrestlemania… 20 days early.”
His body certainly had a lot of cuts, bruises and scars and it is to be seen what happens next with the Celtic Warrior.
Sheamus might have lost another brutal battle and he might not feature at WrestleMania. However, that cannot be said for McIntyre.
The Scot faces Bobby Lashley for the WWE title. Lashley won the gold from The Miz but that came after The All Mighty attacked McIntyre at Elimination Chamber.
McIntyre had just defended his title in an EC match and Lashley’s attack allowed The Miz to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase and become champion.
Lashley vs McIntyre will be an incredible battle as two of the best meet at WrestleMania. The fans will also be present in the stadium to cheer the pair on.
McIntyre won the title from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 and it will be interesting to see if he can win the gold at WrestleMania 37 too.
