WWE Superstar The Miz heaps praise for former WWE Champion AJ Styles during the recent Ryan Satin podcast
Former WWE Champion The Miz recently appeared on the latest episode of Out of Character with Ryan Satin. He was asked for a response to AJ Styles calling him “the best in all of the wrestling’.
Mizanin heaped praise on Styles and talked about how it was like working with AJ Styles. He also mentioned his first match moment with him.
Wow!, It’s an honour honestly like ever since the first time AJ stepped foot into WWE, I was like his first competitor, like the first person to go up against him and sometimes you can feel it. You just know a person in WWE. Now everyone can be like yeah, it’s AJ Styles. That doesn’t always happen when people come from outside of WWE into WWE. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, a special person, and a special superstar as soon as I got in the ring with AJ. I was like, oh, he’s going to be something in WWE. He’s going to be one of the biggest stars out there. You could feel the energy, you could feel the passion, the electricity, the aura, and I knew right away.
The Miz opens about the advice which Triple H gave him before his match at WrestleMania
Former WWE Champion opened about Triple H’s advice before his WrestleMania 37 tag team match involving Bad Bunny and how it helped him.
“I was having trouble with the beginning of that Bad Bunny match, I was trying to figure it out, like, I’m a WWE superstar and this is a celebrity,” Miz said. “He’s a music person, and he’s coming into my world and he’s just going to be able to do things? And Triple H is the best at being like, ‘Yeah, but what if you do this…’ and I’ll go, ‘oh.’ And sometimes, that’s all you need, just a little bit of advice, and then he sat down with me for 20 minutes and after that 20 minutes, I knew exactly what needed to be done. We went out there and just killed it. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
The Miz teamed up with John Morrison to take on Bad Bunny & Damian Priest at WrestleMania 37, which they lost apparently.
