WWE Superstar Omas and Aj Styles’ team descends into bedlam. So what could be the real reason for the split?
Monday Night Raw saw the alliance between AJ Styles and his own Personal Colossus crumbles after the battle against Rey and Dominik Mysterio in a tag team match.
AJ and Omos came out for a Miz TV segment this week, followed by a match against the Mysterios. After the match, the two imploded as Styles started trash-talking to Omos and called him a “piece of tr*sh”. He then started striking Omos.
The Big Jordan Giant leveled Styles and grabbed a microphone to say that it would be in a match the next time he saw Styles. It is pretty clear that the stable is over, and they are officially in a feud now.
“End of an era.”
Recently it was also confirmed that Styles will go one on one with The Giant next week on Monday Night Raw.
The real reason for Omos and AJ Styles split on WWE
The stable of AJ Styles and The Giant Omos might have split today, but this was a long time in the making. First of all, there were a lot of speculations from the WWE Draft that Vince McMahon and the creative team were thinking about splitting Omos from Styles.
But the decision was pushed back because Omos still not ready to take on singles matches without one of the better in-ring workers in the business. But now, since the stable has split, it seems like The Giant is ready for a singles match-up.
Another reason is the purpose of this alliance has been fulfilled. At first, it was done to provide guidance to Omos and allow Styles to spend some time in the tag team scene, and he has proved that by capturing the Raw tag titles.
The New Monster of WWE and AJ Styles can become a new and intense feud as it will be something new for the fans to see Omos fight the former WWE Champion.
October 2020 saw the beginning of an intriguing alliance on WWE Raw when AJ Styles revealed his new bodyguard. Over time, the partnership became more robust as the two superstars kept running through tag teams on Raw. They finally got their moment at WrestleMania 37 when they defeated The New Day as the Raw Tag Team Champions.
It will be interesting to see how this Giant monster goes against Styles next week on Raw for the first time ever. We can expect some big fireworks and dominance from the big man.
