WWE Superstar The Rock has a message after Rick Steiner, and son Bron Breakker celebrated Breakker’s title win
The Rock recently responded to the incredible win and celebration of Bron Breakker and how his father, former wrestling star Rick Steiner celebrated after NXT New Year’s Evil went off the air.
Soon after Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the WWE NXT Championship, Steiner joined him inside the ring to celebrate the emphatic victory.
The Rock took to Instagram posted a comment about this extraordinary heartwarming father-son moment. He wrote, “Very f***ing cool,” which clearly means that he seemed to have appreciated the moment that occurred between Steiner and Breakker.
Bron Breakker is the new WWE NXT Champion
Breakker took on NXT veteran Tommaso Ciampa at the NXT 2.0 New Years Evil. The Big man looked to dominate the game early, but ‘The Blackheart’ began ducking the rookie while hitting a big dropkick and corkscrew plancha. Breakker bounced back into the match with a spinebuster and standing moonsault for two.
‘The Blackheart’ caught Breakker between the legs with the rope and hit two running knees into the Fairy Tale Ending in a crazy near fall. The two fought on the second rope and hit a bulldog to Ciampa. In the end, he locked in the Steiner Recliner for a tap out.
Rick Steiner was in the house for last night’s special New Year episode of WWE NXT 2.0, joining his son Bron Breakker in the ring following his main event triumph. This was the first time Rick has been in a WWE ring since the early 90s.
Rick Steiner is a former WWF Tag team Champion, having won the titles with his brother Scott Steiner in the past. His son follows in his father’s footsteps as in his only ninth appearance on WWE TV, he has won a championship title.
