The Rock was someone who loathed the smell of marijuana back in those days
It has been 2 years since the Rock retired from professional wrestling. ‘The People’s Champion’ announced the same on the 3rd of August in 2019.
Ever since his movie career began picking up pace, his appearances in the promotion became sporadic. By the mid-2000s he had transitioned into a full-time movie career.
In the early 2010s came his insane body transformation. He became the face of modern fitness.
More recently, WWE Hall of Famer, The Godfather, who was a part of the WWE until 2007, detailed a hilarious incident involving the Rock.
In an appearance in the recent episode of Such Good Shoot podcast, The Godfather reminisced about an incident when he and the Rock were travel buddies, when they were a part of the Nation of Domination Faction.
The Godfather revealed that The Rock stopped travelling with him, since he always smelt of Marijuana.
Here is what the Godfather had to say:
“One day Rocky came to me and said, ‘Hey, Papa, I can’t ride with you no more. I’m like, ‘What do you mean you can’t ride with me no f***ing more?’ He goes, ‘Bruh, everywhere I go I smell like weed and I’m telling people I don’t smell like weed. And then the next time they see me, they say every time I see you you say you don’t smell like weed, but you smell like weed!’” [via Wrestling Inc]
The Rock celebrates best ever Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score following Jungle Cruise release
The Rock’s latest movie starring himself and Emily Blunt, Jungle Cruise, scored 94% in the Audience Score of Rotten Tomatoes.
An elated Rock took to Twitter to thank the fans:
“Just blown away. Thank you!!! Highest @RottenTomatoes audience score of my entire career (and that’s a long ass time cause I’m a dinosaur).”
He then revealed the top 5 audience scores for his movies:
“Jumanji 87% Jumanji 2 87% Hobbs 88% Moana 89% JUNGLE CRUISE 94%!!!! People have spoken! Thank you guys. Enjoy #JungleCruise.”
