The Rock praises R-Truth on Twitter after a Tiktok post
WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took to Twitter to praise Superstar R-Truth even calling him a ‘Future Hall of Famer.’
This came after R-Truth retweeted a video from his Tiktok account humming to the song “Stand By Me’ while sipping on The Rock’s own Teremana tequila. He also added to its comic value by introducing a comb, fork and his own braided hair.
Truth is a two time United State Champion and is also a former Tag Team Champion alongside Kofi Kingston. He has also won the 24×7 Championship the most number of times.
The Rock is rumoured to make a return to WWE to feud with Roman Reigns, his cousin. He has been out of action for a long while and will be looking to bring the electrifying atmosphere back.
R-Truth, meanwhile lost the 24×7 title to Akira Tozawa. He is regarded by many as having one of the funniest comic promos with an imaginary boy, Jimmy.
The Rock returned in 2011 to start a feud after his final appearance at WrestleMania 20. The feud involved two WrestleMania events, won by both Cena and The Rock. The most interesting match in the build-up came at Survivor Series. The Rock teamed up with John Cena to face The Miz and R-Truth.
“It would have to be myself and The Miz versus The Rock and John Cena, I remember me and Miz were looking at each other and said, ‘Bro, we’re right here at Madison Square Garden.’ Bro, that’s a goosebump moment,” he added.
R-Truth still considers that match to be his favourite in WWE. Truth came close to winning the WWE title when he feuded with John Cena, but was never successful.
With R-Truth’s work being appreciated by greatness, will we see The Electrifying Man return to fight once again ?
R-Truth is currently a 52-time 24×7 champion and will be looking to win back the gold immediately.
