As per reports The Rock will not return to Survivor Series 2021
The rumors of The Rock returning to the WWE never fade away, being one of the most prominent wrestling icons around the world the Rock is always the center of speculations of his return. It was reported that he will be making an appearance on Survivor Series this year for his 25th anniversary with the company.
However, as the things stand now it is very unlikely that he actually will. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast reported that the Rock is scheduled to be filming in Australia and his schedule will clash with that of the WWE Survivor Series PPV.
Though, the return is not completely out of the window but the odds are certainly not in the favor of Rock making a return anytime soon. However, WWE will still have some sort of 25th anniversary tribute for him at the event.
Will Survivor Series be the last PPV of the year?
Survivor Series is set to be the last PPV for 2021 as per recent reports. Usually, TLC is the last PPV in the calendar year, however, this year it is not. TLC has been nixed by the WWE for 2021 which will make Survivor Series the last event of the year.
Survivor Series will take place in Brooklyn, New York on 21st November 2021. Further, a new PPV called the WWE Day 1 has been introduced by the company. The Day 1 is scheduled for January 1st in Atlanta, Georgia. The WWE has decided the kick off the new year with a new PPV event.
