Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will not feature at WrestleMania 38
WWE Megastar The Rock is not going to feature on WrestleMania 38, as confirmed by Ringside News. The Rock’s busy schedule makes it difficult to nail him down for a WWE appearance. The Rock’s last match was over in seconds, because he can’t wrestle with all the money that studios invest in him.
Still, there are rumors that the People’s Champ will feature in WrestleMania 39, which is lined up at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Ringside News mentioned on Twitter about the news:
“The Rock’s return to pro wrestling is one instance of WWE having to book long-term, because his schedule is ridiculously busy. We were told that next year’s WrestleMania isn’t looking likely for The Rock, but Dwayne Johnson is “a virtual lock for Hollywood Mania 2023.”
However, The most electrifying man in sports entertainment might be back for a Survivor Series appearance before Hollywood Mania in 2023.
WWE possibly pairing The Rock against Roman Reigns
The Rock’s return to WWE could hint at a match with current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
We all know that Reigns and Dwayne Johnson are relatives, and they have already featured together in the action thriller Hobbs and Shaw, where The Rock plays his brother.
WWE knows how to make a WrestleMania Dream match up with The Great One going head to head with Reigns. This could turn out to be a treat for all the WWE fans across the globe.
Reigns vs The Rock would be quite a battle and it will be interesting to see how things develop with The Great One and The Tribal Chief next.
