There was a time when Becky Lynch wasn’t “Big Time Becks”, and Paige hadn’t become the Divas Champion. Yes, we are talking about their time in Shimmer Wrestling. Becky Lynch made her Shimmer debut in early 2006 under the ring name Rebecca Knox. On the other hand, Paige joined Shimmer Women Athletes on 26 March 2011. 

Shimmer Wrestling’s Twitter handle recently posted some throwback pictures of Paige and Lynch, which made the fans quite nostalgic.

These wrestlers created history in the world on women’s wrestling and became icons for future generations.

Paige and Becky Lynch have gone on to do wonders after their Shimmer Career

Becky Lynch became one of the most recognizable and highest-paid wrestlers of WWE. She became the first woman to hold Raw Women’s Championship and SmackDown Women’s Championship simultaneously and the four-time WWE Women’s Champion. She has also set the record for longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion at 398 days.

Paige became the youngest WWE Divas Champion (2-times) and also was the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion. Additionally, she became the only woman to hold both Divas and NXT Women’s Championships simultaneously.

She had to stop competing in the ring due to a severe neck injury; however, there is a lot of speculation that she might make a comeback soon. Paige is currently signed as a WWE ambassador.

Paige became the youngest woman to win the Diva’s title.

Both Paige and Lynch have become legends in the world of Women Pro-Wrestling.
