AEW star wants to face former champion Ember Moon
Thunder Rosa has a name on top of her priority list of newly-available stars that she would like to go out face-to-face with, and she is none other than Ember Moon.
Rosa appeared on Busted Open Radio and when asked who she would like to take on – she said she never had an opportunity to face Ember and would love to take her on.
“Ember Moon. I have not had the opportunity to work with her. She’s one of the Dallas veterans, I mean Texas veterans. She worked for so long in NXT and I don’t think they gave her the platform she deserved.”
“Because she’s so good and so underrated. So, hopefully, I get the opportunity to work with her. It would be a banger.”
Former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon earlier this month was released by WWE along with Franky Monet, Scarlett, Oney Lorcan and a few others. The wrestler also took to twitter and reacted to it as well:
Ember Moon history
Moon is a former one-time NXT Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. She was signed by WWE in September 2015 and was called to the main roster to work on SmackDown and Raw both in 2018.
In two years on Raw and SmackDown she didn’t have any success in the Championships, but was a regular face in the women’s division, doing everything from the Royal Rumble to an analyst role on WWE Backstage.
Moon also won the vacant NXT Women’s Championship and held the title from November 2017 all the way until her main roster call up following NXT TakeOver: New Orleans in 2018.

She then moved back to NXT in September 2020 and was out of action for some time because of injuries and other health issues.
