Lacey Evans faces Sasha Banks in a Money in the Bank qualifier match on SmackDown

SmackDown star Lacey Evans has Sasha Banks in her sights. The Southern Belle interrupted a match last week that had major repercussions for Bayley and will go against her best friend tonight.

Evans has been at loggerheads with Banks for a few months now and helped Tamina win her clash against the Boss last week.

That had a stipulation with Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s title the prize. Bayley will not face Tamina at Money in the Bank but her best friend might want to be there too.

Banks and Evans face off in a Money in the Bank match qualifier, and the Southern Belle is confident of destroying the Boss.

Evans had tweeted in the past that she would come out on top and make Banks pay. Some fans were concerned and wanted Evans to go easy, but she wasn’t having any of it:

Banks and Evans have faced off in the past and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this battle.

New gimmick for Money in the Bank 2020

This year’s Money in the Bank will be a little different from previous editions. Normally, the Money in the Bank match is a ladder match with a briefcase hung on top.

However, this year, the matches will take place in WWE Headquarters with the participants running from the ground to the top floor.

That is an interesting premise and there should be a lot of fun moments in this. However, there is no confirmation of where the other matches might take place. Apart from Bayley’s title, there are several other championships up for grabs.

But the Money in the Bank matches are the draw for this PPV. Evans has a chance of making it to the special, and she seems confident of dispatching Banks tonight.
