Pat McAfee and Adam Cole could meet in a WWE ring soon
Triple H has taken matters into his own hand after Pat McAfee assaulted WWE star Adam Cole on NXT.
Cole and McAfee have had their own rivalry in recent weeks after the WWE star went to a podcast. However, McAfee and Cole seemed to put all this behind ahead of this week’s NXT.
McAfee, a former NFL kicker, was on commentary duty when Cole threw water on him. That started a bit of a brawl and McAfee kicked Cole in the head, knocking him out.
That led to wide condemnation of the kicker’s actions with many WWE stars calling him out. McAfee has shared his version of the issue too but not many are buying it.
Triple H was speaking on ESPN and found a solution to all this. The Game suggested that McAfee and Cole deal with their problems in the wrestling ring.
H also took a slight dig at McAfee and said that the former NFL star had done well to transition into a media career, and the ball was in his court now:
.@PatMcAfeeShow has made the transition from NFL star to successful media and entertainment personality … but accepting a challenge from @AdamColePro to step inside an #WWENXT ring? I guess the ball is in his court. #NXTTakeOver https://t.co/IbRVw1wTHt

Cole vs McAfee set
This isn’t the first time someone from the NFL or another sport makes his way to the WWE ring. It will be interesting to see how things develop in the coming days.
McAfee needs to train a bit before getting in the ring, but this was a questionable segment by WWE. Cole is one of the top stars in the company, and getting knocked out by McAfee would not have gone down well with him.
The former NXT Champion was out cold after the kick and McAfee was thrown out of the arena. Cole will have something to say about this and will be looking to gain revenge soon.
