The Undertaker seems done with wrestling in WWE but he could still have a major role to play in the company
WWE legend The Undertaker has claimed that his match against AJ Styles would be his last in the promotion but he still might have a role in the company.
The Phenom will go down as one of the greatest in the history of professional wrestling but he isn’t leaving WWE anytime soon.
While we haven’t seen Taker for a while, his Last Ride documentary has been a huge success. Some of the segments have highlighted just how bad a shape he is in, and in live matches, he has struggled big time.
There was an update on what the future would hold for The Phenom. Triple H was speaking to the media after NXT WarGames and added that he is in talks with Taker for a new role.
Gary Cassidy, of Inside the Ropes, asked H about Taker, and The Game claimed that the Phenom could be set to work backstage on NXT.
The role hasn’t been finalised yet but more talks would take place in the New year.

The right move for Taker
Taker was struggling in the ring and it only makes sense for him to take up a new role. He has given it his all for the company and with the wealth of knowledge he has, he would be a great help to the rising stars on NXT.
WWE has some of the best young talent coming up through the Black and Gold Brand, and it will be interesting to see in what capacity the promotion use Taker.
He could also make a few appearances ahead of PPVs, especially WrestleMania. Taker is a huge name that WWE have and it would be crazy to let him leave.
