While we haven’t seen Taker for a while, his Last Ride documentary has been a huge success. Some of the segments have highlighted just how bad a shape he is in, and in live matches, he has struggled big time.

There was an update on what the future would hold for The Phenom. Triple H was speaking to the media after NXT WarGames and added that he is in talks with Taker for a new role.

Gary Cassidy, of Inside the Ropes, asked H about Taker, and The Game claimed that the Phenom could be set to work backstage on NXT.

The right move for Taker

Taker was struggling in the ring and it only makes sense for him to take up a new role. He has given it his all for the company and with the wealth of knowledge he has, he would be a great help to the rising stars on NXT.

The Undertaker is a legend in the WWE (WWE)

WWE has some of the best young talent coming up through the Black and Gold Brand, and it will be interesting to see in what capacity the promotion use Taker.

He could also make a few appearances ahead of PPVs, especially WrestleMania. Taker is a huge name that WWE have and it would be crazy to let him leave.
