WWE Superstar Triple H has some other ideas for Jeff Hardy becoming the WWE Champion
Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. the Ariel Helwani Show and revealed that Hunter was not impressed with the idea of Jeff Hardy winning the WWE Championship in 2008.
He revealed that Triple said we can trust the championship with this guy (Jeff Hardy). Freddie mentioned this as a sniper bullet.
“Hunter brought it up, and everybody else was cool. And nobody had said anything, and I’m sitting in there nervous. And he (Triple H) says, ‘Are we really going to trust the championship with this guy?’ And I knew that was a sniper bullet, man.”
Hardy won three world championships in WWE, which includes World Heavyweight Championship twice, and the one WWE Championship came against The Game and Edge in a triple threat match.
Prinze Jr. revealed that Michael Hayes, who has been an essential member of Vince McMahon’s backroom staff, really wanted to see Hardy winning the world title and was the one who pushed Hardy’s name.
Hayes was the manager of The Hardy Boyz in 1999, and Hardy recently said that he always pitches his ideas to Hayes only. Nevertheless, he has played a crucial role in WWE over the last two decades.
Jeff was quoted as saying,” I’ve never pitched one idea to Vince. I’ve never. I always go to Michael Hayes when I have an idea that I feel really passionate about.”
