Triple H underwent heart surgery to deal with a problem last week
WWE superstar Triple H recently had heart surgery last week. The surgery was very well needed as WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development had a cardiac event, and it was caused due to a genetic heart issue.
WWE had recently issued a statement about Triple H’s recovery and how he responded well to the treatment. Triple H is expected to make a full recovery. The surgery was done at the Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The WWE.com statement about Triple H said:
“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale-New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event,” the statement said. “The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue, and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”
The 52-year-old hasn’t been in the ring since 2019.
It was reported on Wrestling Observer Live (h/t wrestling news. co) that NXT is getting rebranded, and Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will now produce it.
NXT was managed by Triple H and Shawn Michaels, and they were taking care of the storylines and production of the show.
The statement was reported on Observer as,
“Like anything, anything can change, anything is possible, but I talked a while ago about how we’re going to have a new NXT. It’s gonna be like the old NXT. I have heard from several people now that when they go back to live shows, this is going to be a Vince McMahon-Bruce Prichard production.”
We have all seen in the past the capabilities of McMahon regarding the productions of WWE.
They have already unveiled the new NXT logo, it will be just a matter of time when McMahon and Prichard take over the show.
