Bronson Reed was very impressive in his latest win on WWE NXT
Ever since his debut a couple of years ago on WWE NXT, Bronson Reed has looked like a man to be wary of on the show who reckons he can destroy just about anybody in his path.
Which is why it seemed stupid of Austin Theory to challenge him to a match if the big man wanted to have a shot at the North American title.
The match between the two was set up for this week’s episode of NXT on Tuesday night. And it was messy to say the very least.
There were a lot of storylines going on at the same time. ‘The Way’ came out to distract Reed as Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell continued having their own thing going on the sides.
But Reed was not distracted and maintained his composure to finish off Theory in comprehensive fashion.
Bronson Reed has his North American title shot on NXT against Johnny Gargano
Another person that Reed impressed by his display was NXT founder, Triple H, who took to his Twitter to praise the Australian’s performance.
Hunter wrote, “.@BronsonReedWWE has had a singular focus since coming to #WWENXT: championship gold. Despite any and all distractions tonight, he took another colossal step toward achieving that. #NXTNATitle“
It was not long ago that Reed pinned the North American champion, Johnny Gargano, in an 8-man tag team match on an episode of NXT.
And he will now have his chance to take that title when he takes on Gargano next. This match will definitely happen, but the date is not set yet.
As for The Way, they seem to be a giant mess right now and Gargano’s title remains the only thing that seemingly keeps them in control of NXT. But that can change very soon now.
