Triple H was the first to congratulate Breezango for winning the NXT Tag titles
This week’s WWE NXT saw the crowning of new tag champions with Breezango getting the better of Imperium.
It had been quite a story leading up to this clash as Tyler Breeze and Fandango finally won their first tag titles as a pair.
In fact, these were the first championships held by either star despite being in the WWE for close to a decade.
Fandango and Breeze had even tried their luck as singles competitors, moved to the main brands from NXT and then formed a tag team. However, gold always eluded them.
That all changed this week with a huge win over Imperium, and Triple H was one of the first to congratulate the pair.
The boss claimed this was their “breakout” moment as he shared a picture with the champions:
Two Superstars who’ve been ready to have their collective “breakout” moment. Congratulations to the NEW @wwenxt tag team champions, @mmmgorgeous and @wwefandango. #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/mLkPBsp0NT

Finally getting the gold
Many WWE stars also tweeted their happiness at seeing the pair pick up the titles. There were fears that the team might be broken up after Fandango picked up a serious injury but he made his return recently and the pair have kicked off from there.
Breeze and Fandango were on SmackDown before being sent back on NXT. However, the Black and Gold brand can compete with the other two, and it was great seeing the pair win the title.
NXT has a ton of quality tag teams and the pair won’t have a lot of time to celebrate their win. Imperium should get a rematch while the Undisputed Era could also be keen on picking up the titles.
However, this was the perfect reward for all the hard work Breeze and Fandango have put in over the years.
They might not have been crowned champions on SmackDown or Raw, but NXT gold is still something to be proud of.
