The 52-year-old made his entrance into the ring with his iconic theme “The Game” and a water bottle in hand. He gave a hug to Olympic gold medalist and one of WWE’s fresh recruitments Gable Steveson, who was sitting in the front row.

After this, “The Cerebral Assassin” got up on the apron and performed his trademark water splash. H entered the ring and thanked all the members of the WWE Universe. He said he’ll say thank you in the way he knows best – “Welcome to WrestleMania” and after this, the pyros continued in full swing.

The Game left the ring as his wrestling boots remained in the middle of the squared circle. He hugged his family outside the ring and walked backstage to deafening cheers from the fans.

Triple H’s retirement

Triple H announced his retirement towards the end of last month when he appeared on ESPN’s First Take and said that he will never wrestle again.

The Game was diagnosed with viral pneumonia which led to heart failure and he admitted he wasn’t sure he would survive. Triple H told Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s First Take that he won’t be competing in a match in WWE ever again.

He is one of the most decorated wrestlers of all time. Triple H won the World championship in WWE on 14 different occasions. He has a very fine understanding of the business. He was the mastermind behind the NXT brand where he wanted to give a platform for the young and promising talents to showcase their mettle in front of decent crowds ahead of featuring on the main roster.

Triple H’s last physical altercation came against Randy Orton in 2021. It was a plain and simple brawl that became a no-contest after involvements of Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss.
