Trish Stratus expects great things from Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks at WrestleMania
Speaking on the Busted Open Podcast with Dave LaGreca and Bully Ray, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has revealed the names of two female Superstars from whom she expects great things at WrestleMania 37.
Trish is widely regarded as a legend in the pro-wrestling world for her contributions and achievements during his illustrious career in WWE. Recently named The Greatest Women’s Wrestler of all time, she is a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion, a Hall of Famer and an inspiration to many up and coming athletes.
Having retired in 2006, Trish continues to make sporadic appearances on WWE. She was involved in a battle with Charlotte Flair in 2019 at SummerSlam PPV.
Someone who has been there and done that, Trish knows what it takes to make it big in WWE. And ahead of the upcoming WrestleMania 37, the 45-year-old said she expected special things from Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks in their SmackDown Women’s Championship match.
“I do watch the product. I’ve been watching and waiting for Bianca Belair to begin her journey. And obviously, this is gonna be her big beginning to just step into the WrestleMania spotlight. And to be with a professional like Sasha Banks, the other one I like. They’re just gonna kill it. Super excited about the match.”
Further elaborating on the current talent in the WWE Women’s division, Trish also went on to mention the name of Rhea Ripley as someone that excites her.
“I feel like it’s a good time right now. Just these girls are going to come up and we’ve got Rhea Ripley. It’s an exciting time.”
WrestleMania 37 takes place this weekend at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. While Belair will challenge Banks for her SmackDown Championship, Ripley will contest Asuka for the RAW Women’s strap. Like Stratus says, they’re gonna kill it at WrestleMania.
