Former WWE Superstars reveals failed plans of forming new faction with Mandy Rose
The former member of Heavy Machinery has spoken about the possibility of adding Mandy Rose during his time in WWE.
Otis and Mandy Rose were involved in a romantic storyline which got the attention of the WWE Universe. Tucker, meanwhile, was sidelined after moving to WWE Raw and later released from the company.
Talking to WrestleTalk, he reveals the rejection of an idea to involve Mandy Rose saying: (h/t Ringside News)
“I also think there’s no reason why me and Otis and Mandy shouldn’t have had a run together as the three of us. We pushed that on multiple occasions, there’s so many things we could do backstage there of a brother getting his other brother ready for different dates with a girl that’s out of his league. And that story, for there not to be a payoff for that story, is more egregious than the me and Otis thing, 100 times more egregious.”
He also said that it was a top 3 story during the pandemic season for the fans at home to enjoy. He feels the investment is so much more towards wrestling.
The interest would also rise because it involves a story of a lovable guy finally getting his dream girl. Otis eventually turned heel on WWE SmackDown and attacked Montez Ford.
Where is Mandy Rose now?
After featuring with Otis on SmackDown, Rose moved to WWE Raw to focus on her wrestling antics. She teamed up with Dana Brooke to form a Tag Team to compete for the title. Rose was one of the trending wrestlers last year, after also feuding heavily with Sonya Deville. Rose beat Deville in a ‘Loser leaves town’ match.
Rose has also featured in singles action against the likes of Charlotte Flair. She is one of the most charismatic and hardworking wrestlers in the women’s roster. An impressive run of performances could see her move up the division and contend for the gold.
